I do hope y'all realize...
He's talking about himself.
Astro_man... I honestly think there are more things important in life than Storm2K. I get my hurricane-fix here. That's it. I have friends. I see one at least every day, even during the summer. I read books. I look at colleges. [I'll be a Senior this year.] I practice my music. I study for the SAT. I go to the pool and swim. I go to parties.
Someone with more than 40 posts / day either works at S2K, or needs to find a nice hobby. No offense intended.

What? So I used to have almost 195 posts per day. I was bored with summer and found it kind of interesting.
Now my average is way down because I didnt post for like 2 months and have been posting sparingly for the last 3 or 4 months. Oh not to mention in the server crash I lost 10,000 posts so I really should be up near, oh, 28,000 posts. But, alas, its life.
Not to mention three things our missing since back then (April 24th, 2004-August 1st, 2004)
*The REAL Games Forum aka Fun and Games Fourm which was totally awsome until it was shut down.
*The Time To Post, I have been really busy since then with Highschool and other stuff
*My Friend Brian (NEWeatherguy) who would constantly post with me on this site, had himself deleted here for personal reasons I can only assume.
I miss him

Good for you. You're smart. I'm also smart. Welcome to the smart club.

Swimdude, no shame in studying! Hope you're taking AP classes this year, because AP is awesome.

I wouldn't necessarily call him anything until I see the quality of his posts. If you're contributing positively to the board -- asking good questions, giving good answers, raising good points -- I wouldn't have any problem with it. I see you as somebody who wants to learn, so I don't think much of it. Yeah, I roll my eyes a little at the "what's your favorite blah blah blah" polls, but hey, don't worry about it.

On another board I used to post on, there was someone, a little older than you, who made 40-50 posts a day, but they were all crap. A lot of "me too" posts, and sometimes not even that good. He'd say "I agree" when it was clear to everyone on the board that he had no clue what he was agreeing to. Anything to get his post count up. He was really starting to annoy people. Somebody finally told him to get a girlfriend (and in somewhat more graphic terms than that

The moral of this story is: Be an asset to the board.
