tho no one asked, I think its an appropriate thread, it's exactley what we have been talking about for almost a week, Irene is unpredictable and tho it is only 1 mb, it is important, it's the begining of hurricane Irene. :Chit:

the only way this will be an appropriate thread is if everybody would stop discussing if it is or not and make an appropriate RESPONSE

---with that I will---

I think this is the beginning of Irenes strengthening. I think that Irene will be below 1000mb by tomorrow evening and should be cruising right along by Friday... this isnt a flucuation... this is Irene becoming something.

sweetie I have a request...

I always enjoy reading your posts, but could you try and title your subjects a little better so we know what you are getting to. I've noticed they are always a bit obscure and until you go in and actually read it, you have no idea what you are going to be talking about. especially when the season starts to wind up, having cryptic titles can start confusing people when they won't know what storm you are talking about or needlessly panic if they think they are suddenly under the gun.
I remember a title last year that said something like "models shift left!" and there were a butload of people that thought you were talking about a storm a day from landfall, but you were talking about something much farther out.
This is just a suggestion because otherwise a lot of folks here won't take your opinions so seriously, thinking you are just trying to create "hype". -which would be a shame because you often have good things to say!

SATISFIED EVERYONE?! Geesh

Good thing I have a sense of humor. This is, after all, NOT the Declaration of Independence or the Magna Carta.

Thank you RU4REAL. Indeed that 1 mb drop was important as we can all see by the 11 p.m. update. Irene's pressure has now dropped to 1005 mb and she is re-upgraded to TS. I appreciate your perception.

I was actually throwing in a bit of sarcasm.

But, it did seem to be a little much for a 1 mb drop. What are you going to post when it undergoes rapid intensification? :P

What was "a little much?" I simply noted a "pressure drop," which, BTW, was the first such in quite some time and therefore significant.

I'm afraid you're sarcasm is misplaced.
