While we don't have access to anything beyond 144hrs, I would think that it points more to a recurve to sea, but anyway, I don't think that NOGAPS handles the situation well. I'm not listening to it.

Don't see it, if the center is where it does appear to be she is still moving almost due west and these models for the most part have been turning her more WNW to NW by now. If she is going to be able to miss NC or points southward she will have to start turning into this possible weakness or split if you will very soon.

VERY true...this model is majorly underestimating the ridge...and your right this system is still tracking pretty much due WEST...models keep trying to pull her up too quickly....00z will be interesting to look at..
