I used to bag for Albertson's. I absolutely loved the customer service parts of the job - bagging groceries, talking to customers in line and in the parking lot, and helping them get stuff into their cars. I despised doing returns, cleaning the floors, cleaning the bathrooms, taking out the trash, and checking the entire store for spills every single hour. Had my job actually just been bagging and front-end customer service, I'd have absolutely kept my job, but as it was, I could get alot more than $5.25 an hour for alot less work than I had to do at Albertson's. They really liked me there, and I liked it too, but Albertson's company policy prevented my wage from ever going above $6 until I turned 18 and could sell liquor...so I now work for $7.70 at IKEA, as a cashier. Just as fun as Alberton's, but easier.
Good luck with your job though. It's a great first job. Having a steady income is amazingly liberating.
