Need a loan for gas yet?
WELL.....it's about time to refinance the HOUSE to fill up the cars now
S.O.B.S...we hit "$2.50" a GALLON and prices are expected to KEEP CLIMBING.........say what you want, I know who is responsible for this OUTRAGE! and NO..it's NOT whom you think it is

I can't say this is the case at the particular station you mentioned...
But generally they price gas based on what the next shipment is going to cost them, not what the previous shipment cost. There is a bit of playing around with prices to compare with other stations, but the most important factor by far is how much the next truckload will cost.
Most of your local gas stations are locally owned franchises. They are not generally owned by the oil company that they advertise for. In fact, much of the time they don't even sell gasoline from those companies.
In the Tampa area, for instance, almost all gas stations sell Citgo gas, regardless of the sign up front. That is because the Port of Tampa has a huge Citgo terminal, and that's where most of the trucks fill up.
