So, does this mean any extra opportunities for shuttle sightings?

Probably... but, the chances for a Cape landing look small. Weather looks similar with low visibility. Edwards AFB landing looks good though.

*bops Brent on the head with a trout*

I'm asking about chances for more SIGHTINGS, not landings.

Like here: http://www.storm2k.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=69834

You know -- streaking across the sky...visible overhead...flybys...passovers..."look! up in the sky! it's a bird! it's a plane! No, it's the space shuttle!!"

I said "Probably".

If it goes into the Cape... probably the same areas as was expected this morning.

I made the last post to say the chances of a Cape LANDING are small...

Edwards is showing the most promise... they are worried about low clouds at the Cape. White Sands is only if they can't go to the Cape OR Edwards.

Praying that the shuttle has a safe and smooth landing here in Biloxi. I hope to get up to see it!

Agree on Edwards as the best option.

Here they come to Edwards Base in the dark skies there but NASA wil have nightvision cameras that will allow us to see it at dark.
