00Z Ukmet - Different scenario

#1 Postby sma10 » Tue Aug 09, 2005 12:11 am

Thru 144 hrs, Ukmet no longer recurves Irene. Instead, Irene heads North, stalls around Bermuda and then takes on a very, very slow westward drift.

My apologies......this scenario is actually very similar to the 12Z run from earlier today.

The 12Z run (like the 0Z run) shows what APPEARS to be a recurve through 144 hours and then a westward drift between 144 and 168 hours.
