These waves usually fizzle out, maybe 1 out of 10 will develop. Maybe this is the one, probably not. Time will tell..

wave looks pretty good but I suppose that is all it has currently, good looks.

It seems like many of these that come off the coast looking that good lose their punch after a day or two over the water.

Not one model is developing this feature any longer, even the FSU MM5. Anything that does form should be slow and we have a lot of time to watch it

Why would it be such a huge surprise if it formed? It's far from the worst wave we've seen out there, and is holding together nicely.
