Looking for historical data in excel
Does anyone know of a site where I can download an excel file with all of the historical topical data for the Atlantic basin since 1851 (i.e. wind speed, pressure, position, date, time, etc.)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No idea. That would be a huge file, even with just general stats, not even every advisory. I can only tell you that there is a tool from NOAA that shows it in a map form. I don't know how far back it goes, but it's a nice tool, just as good as the one that came in my tracking software I bought. Here it is:
