My house is a bonafide menagerie. 4 guinea pigs, 2 beta fish, a turtle, a rabbit, a dog, a mother, and 3 boys. The dominant one is the rabbit. She has the run of the house and bosses our dog - part terrier and part shepherd...both hunting dogs - around.

This is Oscar.

That's Gia...and me asleep on the couch.

All 4 guinea pigs.

One time Oscar was chewing on the remains of a stuffed animal on my brother's bed, when Gia 1) enters the room, 2) jumps up onto the bed with him, 3) sniffs him and runs around him in a circle, 4) grabs his toy, yanks it away, and throws it off the bed, and 5) hops away. Oscar just sat there looking extremely forlorn.

Rabbits really are funny little things, aren't they?

I lived in an apartment once with a girl who had 3 cats and one massive rabbit - I don't remember the breed but he was as big or bigger than any of the cats. Anyhow....Mr. Rabbit was quite an amorous fellow....and given that we did not provide him with any female bunnies to court, he used to attempt to satisfy his...errr....urges with the poor, confused kitties all the time. Those kitties must have been so traumatized....

Mr. Rabbit sure was boss of the house, tho. After a few...errr....incidents, the cats would scatter whenever he entered a room. He pretty much had the place to himself.
