it is impressive... but i'm sure that if you took any area between
miami and hatteras, or pensacola to browsville... it would look
very very similar...

That sure is impressive. Hard to know the accuracy of the data going that far back, but that has always been a frequent target so it is not too surprising to see that.

My home is dead center of that mess...here in Navarre. How comforting.

I figure one or too more hits and we're done here. Economy destroyed, jobs lost (unless your a roofer), real-estate market collapse, etc..etc..etc..

Thank's for the heads-up but I've been brushing up my resume for some time now. I love it it here, and it's a shame but it may be time to move inland.

Kids missed 3-4 weeks of school last year due to Ivan, I dread what's in store for us in the coming weeks.

Thanks! I hadn't seen the pre-1886 hurricane history of our little corner of the world before. Very interesting! :)

It's not very welcomed news at all, is it?

BTW. The debris across the street from us that was from Ivan and Dennis...well, it was finally picked up yesterday!
