oh im very serious about it lol. I tried to get one of the mods southerngale I believe her name is, to get this started. I know deep down inside she wants it but if it wont work out for the best interests of this board, then its ok.

A suggestion, for meteorology and tropical storm history info, link to Wikipedia. An example:

There's an active article going about this season:

And there are articles about each notable storm. For example:

Many people contribute to the articles, so they are constantly improving, and you can create an article if a topic, say Tropical Forecasting Models, isn't covered yet.
It's almost as addictive as Storm2K.

You can delete duplicates - you can delete any of your own posts. It's the little "x" next to the edit button, i believe.

BTW, my idea is to be able to search for thread titles. I've been trying to find one for two days now, but I can't remember where it was.

how about up dating it... it still has Franklin stats up with no gert or harvey.. who is in charge of updating the front page with all the new storms and info?? maybe we can help out a bit in that department to keep it up to date....

ya but it says that you can't delete a post if it has been replied to so if there is a post below it you can't delete it and if you accitdentaly dupe a post 2 or 3 time you can only get rid of one. oh ya you are probably wondering how I accidentaly dupe a post 2 or 3 times. when i press submit and it isn't loading to fast if you press submit again it will submit it again.

so I know I said this somewhere but I think that to avoid duplicates you can't immidiatly submit another post for at least 30 seconds so it would be like this:

1st post-------------------------2nd post----

instead of

---0:00:00-0:00:23-----------------------0:04+---------
1st post----Duplicate---------------actual second post
