Driving through the 'hood today on the way home, I looked at one particular house that had been slow in taking down their plywood after Dennis. But they had taken it all down eventually.

Now it's all back up. WTH????

Lets just say we thought about taking the plywood off of the back bedroom windows and they are not coming down until October or November. I am sure my homeowner's association is going to love me.

It's one thing to leave it there. It's quite another to take it all down and then randomly slap it all back up. :)

Personally, homeowner's associations, along with their STUPID covenants, need to let go of some things like this. People do NOT want to be dissassembling shutters and re-installing them over and over again.

Maybe they are going to be away for a family emergency and decided to put them back up just in case.
