Being totally confined from 8:00 to 5:00.
Your life doesn't begin till you leave work. And then you're to pooped to want to do anything but eat dinner, take a nice hot bath and just relax to get up and do it all again the next day.
I hate working. I would love to be able to stay home full time.

i hadnt thought about that. i get to do that too. it IS fun (in a demented sort of way). but considering that i have a job not traditionally held by women, it's a double edged sword. some of the guys that work for me used to be MY bosses....

seriously, i know what you mean, but our problem is the lower ranking civilians who never go TDY and dont have a clue what we go through....

i think they're just PO'd that we make more money than they do.

Time for you to get out the straightjacket. Lock me up somewhere.

Why, you ask?

I don't hate anything about my job!

That's not to say I don't have a list of things I would rather not be PART of my job, but I really don't hate it at all.

Here's the short list of things I would like NOT to do....

1) Tell a customer we have to stop doing business with them because of a payment issue.
2) Tell a customer they can not do business with us because they cannot commit to some simple expectations.
3) Listen to an irate customer (on the phone or in person) who is on the verge of having a stroke over something that is barely worth discussing in the first place.
4) Firing an employee I like as a person.
5) Being called in MY boss's office and having him close the door behind me when I go in.
6) Being responsible for the employees, the clients, and the facility 24/7 whether I am there or not.

The actual job I love. What I hate to see is parents who abuse their children. Have no interest in them, etc.

My job

#37 Postby bevgo » Thu Aug 04, 2005 9:48 am

Well my job is new so I don't hate anything about it. I am still in training and sitting at a computer and phone all day is a drag but when training is done I will be able to get out of the house. I am working out of my home so I don't have to even get dressed at this point if I don't want to. Even after training when I actually get to go see patients I will miss having co-workers to see and chat with but getting to work from home and not go into an office daily (I was commuting 1 1/2 hours each way 5 days a week) is really going to be great.
