Eastern Atlantic Tropical Summary - EATS Out on August 1, 2005
<img src="http://www.diamondheadweather.com/eats20050801.jpg">
The two dominant features today continues to be the massive upper
level low, and the vast area of dry air and Saharan dust. Neither
of these features are tropical development friendly.
Two waves are in the frame, the first was covered in the WATS UP
summary, the second is just south of the Cape Verde islands.
In short, I do not expect development from either of these systems
in the next few days.
