This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Here is my lat/lon. Once you see me on the map you will never be able to accuse me of -removed- a hurricane again! ;)

Thank's Nate. Wonderful google maps and it really gives me an idea where all the posters live. Might as well give mine too.

35 59.361 (35 59 21)
75 38.643 (75 38 38)

Actual gps reading in my driveway.

It will be interesting where it puts me on those maps.

Again thanks for the work, and I have another weather bookmark.

I have good news and bad news.

The good news is that I'm going to be in Las Vegas (36.1 N, 115.2 W) until Sunday. :D

The bad news is that the member maps won't be updated until after I get back. :(

I had wanted to do another quick update tonight, but packing and other things took priority. But it looks like I'll be gone during a relative lull in hurricane activity, so I won't be at all surprised if I come back to a couple of named systems.

lol, mtm. And thank you for the maps. I was there in June and took my laptop. Used it on chat first night, after that I never had the time (too much fun) to get back. Learned my lesson, when in Vegas leave your laptop at home. Have fun.

PS Don't bother with the weather channel there. Bore you to sleep, sunny and hot today and in the foreseeable future.
