Hurry up and run this visible loop (pretty cool feature)...

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Any LLC in the GOM at this time of the year needs to be monitored. Not every LLC will develop, but with warm SST's, convergence with the "front" that pushed through, and with what looks like ideal outflow, this weak LLC has potential.

This is an ideal time of the year for some thing to develop like this and move westward.

this is the only one where a pressure drop was even a little bit significant.
http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=42001

all of the others were similar to: 6pm 7/29: 29.99
then 11am 7/30: 30.04 then 6pm 7/30 29.99 those are no big deal

pressure on TWC when a thunderstorm comes thru is near 29.93 no biggie
