We've had a lot of little rains, one major white out up the bay that didn't last long, some good gusts of wind. It seemed like a fine afternoon to go shoot pool with my girlfriends at El Batey, which is right across the street from the bay and catches the cool air blowing in all the open doors.
Right now there is a slight breeze, grey skies and thunder somewhere out there far away. The guy weedwhacking next door on an abandoned property was nice enough to put grass clippings in the tracks my car makes so I wouldn't slide right into the house through the mud.

Right now I am looking at a spectacular lighting display as some strong thunderstorms are in the atlantic waters.Since noon rain began to fall in most of Puerto Rico with amounts so far between 1-3 inches in some spots in central PR.There haved been some gusts but less than 30 mph so far.Let's see what the rest of tonight brings.

We're getting that light show as well, beautiful! sprinkling rain on and off - something just came through that had me sneezing for 15 minutes, the worst affect of the day so far!
But it is cool with a breeze and I can happily live with that. And a little more if necessary...the floor joists are in on the star dome (at least four feet higher than my view now, it's amazing what a little slope will give), but not the cement for the tie downs so I'm hoping we have awhile!

Finally, some quiet here. The thunder lasted a long time, and the lightning, as you both describe, was spectacular. The dog was practically climbing into my lap a while ago as the thunder again got so loud it rattled the windows and shook the ground - awesome! We had some fairly hard rain a few times since 6:30, but each time it didn't last more than 10-15 minutes.
