92L before/after Franklin dies?

#1 Postby Swimdude » Fri Jul 29, 2005 12:31 pm

All right. I believe we're on our 27th day of an active storm in the Atlantic. Though this is nowhere near the record, we could certainly sneak our way in that direction.

With that said, Franklin is expected to become extratropical today; and is quickly doing so. On the other hand, 92L is expected to become a tropical storm either today or tomorrow. Do you think our 27-day streak will be continued, or will Franklin exit the picture before 92L becomes a storm?

I will say Franklin will lose Tropical Characteristics at 5am tomorrow, yea, long time away, but it still has a good area of convection. That being said, 92 will form probably 5pm tomorrow, continuing the consecutive TC days.
