Last night our local weather forecaster glossed over a "shift" in the North Atlantic Jet Stream (his words, not mine) that might influence the weather over Florida for the remainder of the summer and into the early fall.
Please, someone in the know, explain this shift and it's implications during this wild hurricane season.
