my "unofficial" thoughts the next couple of weeks

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Ok, we all know it has been very very busy so far in the tropics. Right now there is a lull if you will. That should soon chance in the next couple of days. Invest 92L looks like nothing as of right now, I was intially thinking that nothing would come of it. I still think its gonna have to fight really hard to make something of itself. I do think that it will develop but, its gonna be a slow process. Invest 93 is the one that is coming on strong right out of the gate. I have a sneaky feeling that by 11pm tomorrow night we will see TD 8. Both of these should move on a WNW path until the northern islands, then should move more towards the W. The Wave train is really going now and I think we will have a very long season with them. Now, closer to home, I think we will see the threat of GOM storms once again. However, any gainers in latitude with these waves/storms may allow for an east coast threat or even fishes. We will have to wait and see. For the storms that take the southern route here is why I am conserned for a gulf coast landfall...

here are a couple of maps to help my thinking.

That is my opinion...hope ya enjoy..comments and bashings are allowed...lol

By the looks of things, your right, the train is rolling. As we get closer to August, many of the systems coming off Africa will have a better chance to as the environment in that area becomes more condusive for tropical development.
