I'm glad I'm taking a break right now... (Franklin has lost most of my interest except for the 5 minutes of the day I spend reading the advisories/looking at satellite imagery).

Those who went out for the weekend thinking well we have 92L and 93L but nothing else guess what we have 94L now.So things continue to pop up and it is going to get worse as we enter the meat of the season.

the only thing left is for 92L 93L and 94L to get to stage 2... Tropical Depression...
amazing how for all three of the waves the models have strengthened them to Tropical Storms...

one more advisory time in July!!! can they make it?!

Interesting how I was (literally) out to lunch when TD 8 formed. Didn't think anything would happen for at least a few days.

Guess I was right, I said a few days ago when my SAT class started (which would be in one hour from exactly when I post this) then a new storm would form. (Hey, Emily died the day before the last day of summer school.)

The NHC says it will be a TS by tonight ... and they're having an intermediate advisory at 8. I think we'll see Harvey tonight...

that would make it the earliest the 8th named storm has formed on record.

Well, it missed 8pm, I hope it goes up at 11, just to make it a bigger record by a day.
