Good video, although the link you provided was for July 3 and talked about Emily. I went back to your main site and tried both of your July 25 videos and got the one on Franklin.

You said that if Gert had turned to the north, it would have become a hurricane. You said the same about Bret. Gert, Bret. Looks like the same storm. The spelling is even close.

I notice the 2005072706Z GFS shows the storm you mention just coming off Africa as approaching the US East Coast to within about 200 miles of South Carolina on Aug 9, then turning away. Close call. GFS can have huge errors at this far date, and so the storm could strike the seaboard instead. So I am hoping for a Return of the Bermuda High.
