zip boom nada however...

#1 Postby pawlee » Sun May 11, 2003 1:02 am

in my immediate region of Central IL, we recieved nothing other than a few sprinkles however, in checking around this evening at preliminary reports being posted at the haunts of various local chasers, there were significant tornadoes observed in extreme SW IL as well as up north. the crisp video you may be seeing on TWC of a wedge shaped tornado near Lima IL was shot by Scott Weberpal of ILChase http://www.ilchase.org my friend Colin said he witnessed two possible tornadoes near Clayton IL where he said houses were flattened along with damage in Astoria and power out everywhere in Fulton county. very anxious to see everyone's logs tomorrow... p
