Franklin Movement Mid Saturday

Hard to tell from this IR loop which way it's going.....Looks like it's sort of meandering. Hope it hasn't missed the trough. What do ya'll think?

last night i was thinking the same thing. Im pretty sure its still moving in a general NE direction at about 8/9mph. I wouldnt worry too much about it because now alll of a sudden the BAM models which persisted Franklin make a loop back towards the US east coast, have now pretty much joined the other models with a turn to the east out to sea. Gotta wait for more trending but it seems more and more likely that Franklin will go out to sea.

a few models do swing him back around and hit Florida...so until he is in Enland, he needs to be watched....he looks stationary at the moment, but that was the NHC first thought...they should have stuck to it!

The BAM models were the only ones that I know of still doing the loop toward Florida, but not anymore.

the models are assuming it gets picked up by the troph...if it misses it then the models may all shift back...we shall see...

Just watching the visible this afternoon. I can't tell which way he is moving now.

Looking at Hi Resolution visible loop it seems to be moving very and I mean slowly toward the east or just south of east.

Time will tell

Agreed. Looks almost SE. Maybe one of the pro's can take a gander?

whether its moving a little south of east or stationary, if a trough already picked him up it should be obvious that he is moving off the the north east, very interested in the 5:00 update

Interesting. I havent looked at the latest visible yet. Im so spoiled by water vapor. If it is true that Frankling is just meandering around there then it could, key word: could miss that trough.

good post. Just thinking of the very same thing. If the trough picked him up yet, there should be no contest that it was going NE. But right now it's basically stopped where it is. should be an interesting 5 PM update.

Looks SE to me and not real organized.
Could this be the start of the "loop" that was initially forecasted?

Looks to me like Frinklin is moving south east at the start of the Infrared loop those islands south of him are almost clear then by the end looks like the extreme southern part of frinklin is getting ready cover the islands!
