#1 Postby Ixolib » Sat Jul 23, 2005 9:40 am

I believe this is about THE slowest I've seen this board on a Saturday morning in a pretty long time. Seems kinda strange....

I had a long skate up to Ozona this morning.
The Saturday morning bicycle club was just starting out for a ride when I got back down to the Honeymoon island causeway
at 8:30.
Early morning clouds were headed south at only 10 miles an hour so it was easy to stay in the shade.

It is sooooooooo hot here in Puerto Rico, I am going to do some light yardwork today. I don't stay out long. Our pool water is too warm to go in now, maybe tonight when the sun goes down. Yes, we need a well deserved break. Have fun, all.

Everyone is just tired. And it most likely it will just get crazier. I just spent a couple of hours laying around the pool. Outside temperature in the shade 101!!!!!!According to my thermostat. Going to relax awhile then start cooking having a little dinner party tonite. Need a break for awhile. Plan on having lots of good wine, food and hang out with a couple of good friends. Hubby says I have been neglecting him. But then he is the first one that asks me what is going on!

I can gladly report that measurement us DEAD ON. :D

Unfortunately, I'm being yard-boy today, and just took another gatorade
break. It's miserable out there!

It is just burning up here... I cannot go outside for more than 5 minutes before I feel like I'm going to die from the heat. It is the hottest it's been in several years(and that's saying something living here). It is just awful.

With Franklin fishbound and 91L Mexico bound I'm taking a little break this weekend... don't know how long before we have another U.S. threat

It's not the heat, it's the humidity. The air is so just heavy. Ugh... heat index is approaching 105 and we still have a few hours of heating left. Very slim chance of rain too.

97.2 115 Feel like in Zephyrhills florida this afternoon. Were just north east of tampa. This info is taken from weatherbug and my weather station there both only bout .4 degrees of from each other. This is normal temps for this time of year until oct-nov but usually not so early in the morning or afternoon. Crazy My low here was only 84 last night With 90 fell like. Hot hot hot it is. I caught my lawn yesterday where the high was 99 feel like only reached 107 though. Took me 6 hours and 3 hours in the pool in between for my yard but its to be expected here in s florida.

It was hot last night. Not quite as humid as the night before Charley, but close. Friday night's low was 79*.

This season is incredible for storm watching.
