something has changed... no smileys!

What has happened? What am I doing wrong?

I used to be able to put smileys in my messages to others and in postings.

But now suddenly I can't get them in to the message. Worse, I can't remember how I used to do it? I thought I just did a click and drag but that does not work...

How do you do this?

Just click on a smilie. It's automatically in for ya.

Not only does that not work, but when I type a bunch of text and then click on smileys, clicking on the smileys deletes what I typed!!!

Any ideas what is causing this?

My options say that HTML is ON, BB Code is ON and Smilies are ON....
