Convection Firing over Center of TD#6

We have new convection taking off right over the center, they will have to upgrade this with an update before the 11pm Advisory IMO.

it's more linear in nature on the IR. Seems sheared

my concern is how will that blob in the NW caribbean impact the development of this TD6 soon to be Franklin.

I do see some problems for Franklin given all the activity ongoing in the NW carib. That area is much much large than little Franklin and cloud tops are already blowing over Franklin from the Carib.

I have been wondering that too. Franklin looks like it gets a little flat on the side facing the other one. They look awfully close together. How could they eventually impact one another?

With a ridge already getting established over Franklin the area in the Carib. will be slower to develop untill maybe near the Yuc. Channel.

Local met in Tampa said we will have to see how "Frances" develops. I mean Franklin.
