Are next couple of days will be warm and dry and the wave will head northward away from S FL according to local met on channel 10.He's probably right if you look at the sat picture its moving NNW.

Your right, it sure looks like it is getting ripped apart on Satellite. The NHC said it might become more favorable in a couple days.

Yes the rain would be nice. It has been really dry here in East Central Florida for most of July. The outer bands from Dennis a couple weeks ago was about all we have seen here lately.

Just saw WX on 2 different channels. Both said development not very likely but not impossible. Both also agree its most likely going to turn away from FL due to a low which should be developing off the east coast of FL and combining with a high to steer the wave to the nw and then out into the atlantic.

Florida AFD's back that up and they are cutting back precip chances from previous forecasts.

AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIAMI FL
333 AM EDT THU JUL 21 2005

.DISCUSSION...DISTURBED WEATHER ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL WAVE IS
SITUATED OVER THE SOUTHERN BAHAMAS NORTH OF HAITI. ALL MODELS
POINT TO A LOW OR TROPICAL DISTURBANCE? FORMING NEAR ANDROS ISLAND
LATER TONIGHT AS THE WAVE MOVES NORTHWEST. THEN THIS LOW MOVES
NORTH AND EVENTUALLY NORTHEAST AWAY FROM SOUTH FLORIDA. THIS LOOKS
PLAUSIBLE DUE TO A WEAKNESS IN THE ATLANTIC RIDGE. THIS WILL
CHANGE THE FORECAST POPS FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS. EARLIER THINKING
WAS THAT THE WAVE WOULD COME THROUGH S FLA WHICH WOULD GIVE US
SOME GOOD RAINS. NOW THE POPS MUST BE CUT BACK TO A LOWER CHANCE.

I want rain. I hope the thing cuts right over us, and moreover, parks itself here for several days. I'm sick and tired of the all-day summer sun. I haven't seen an afternoon storm in seemingly forever.

cmon now, we had 20+ days of rain in June and most of it associated with t-storms and we had dennis effects which knocked out 200K + FPL cusotmers in dade and broward, there has been plenty of action...lol. as far as the sun goes, u live in the sunshine state.

Actually, we really don't need the rain, at least not yet. Still pretty wet in most parts of the state.

My car is getting dirty, though. I'd like a nice rainstorm to wash the bird crap off.

It's too hot. In all my years living here, I've never been so annoyed by the heat as I have been this month. It's just relentless. Rain all day and keep it cool, I say. I don't care if I see the sun again until Thanksgiving.
