I do not know of anyone who said the Upper TX Coast. The models always showed a NE Mexico/S TX landfall.
Now 99L could prove a different scenario for the Upper TX Coast should it more W and make it into the GOM. Right now it look more like a SE US system due to the ULL to the W pulling the convection Nward.

There was a poll posted 72 hours out and 12 people voted for corpus and north and 8 voted for Houston/Galveston.
You know who you are....fess up, jj
Im not concerned about a system that isnt even an invest yet. I remember threads about "monster" waves coming of of Africa, none of which developed...
TX will have its time, maybe...

That poll said nothing about landfall ....it asked who was "out of the woods", not who was gonna get the full brunt of the storm. BIG difference...

-removed- (wish-kast-ing)verb-1.Ignoring NHC for guideance, 2. Making landfall calls 400+ miles outside the cone 72 hours out or less. 3. Posting on every wobble that goes your way, and mysteriously ignoring all of those against you.4. Translating discussions from NHC like this "a small weakness in ridge would allow for a track more to the north" read as "Its going NNE right now. 5.Saying anything is possible, you cant let your guard down after every advisory. 6. Refer to any post by texasheat...(just giving you a hard time heat, no insult intended).
