wow! y'all stay safe out there! i was just checking out Brownsville long range radar: http://www.srh.noaa.gov/radar/loop/DS.p20-r/si.kbro.shtml. emily sure is holding her act together! when she hits the sierra madre and uncoils--- i just wonder how much will be tossed up into south texas. i remember another storm (can't remember its name-- may have been gilbert???) sending tornadoes into san antonio several years ago. we had friends there who experienced that. of course, there will be major problems in those mountains as they squeeze the rain out of her. she is one tenacious storm!

Thats quite a few, but theres a landfalling hurricane, so im not suprised

this is alot more at landfall than i can remember recently
