South Texas is getting some MUCH needed rain out of this... I just wish the rest of Texas that needed it would have gotten some as well.

North Central TX is experiencing drought conditions. I wouldn't want a hurricane, which would be very unlikely to experience this far inland, but the rains would be beneficial.

I don't want a hurricane in my area, we could use some much needed rain here since our rain deficit is at a near 7 inches.

The Laguna Madre - San Fernando area of Mexico has been under hurricane winds for over 10 hours and probably will endure 14 hours of hurricane overall.

Emily still has an eye and is grinding over the top of the town of Mendez. Heavy rain bands are flooding just south of the Rio Grande. Flash floods should be occurring in the Rio San Fernando near Mendez.

If this were happening over south Texas it would be a big story. Tamaulipas state is being ground down and pounded by hovering bands and winds...

I was just going to note that she still looks healthy for how long shes been over land.
