I grew up in the RGV right across from Reynosa and Matamoros and I hope the Mexican government has done all it could to get those people to shelters. The wind will be a factor in those cities, but the torrential rain will be worse. Some of these poor people live in cardboard shacks and my heart goes out to them.
Monterrey is going to whacked with floods too as this storm slams into the mountains to the west of that city. Those moutains stand at 10,000 feet and the remanents of this storm will hit those peaks like a car running into a brick wall.
