Estimated landfall time?

I was just thinking about when landfall would be. I'll just have to make get up a bit earlier tomorrow although it will still be the middle of the night over there.

Eye is 97 miles offshore according to my software, so about 8 hours.

Looks like a little further north than expected near Sandoval Sound south of the Rio Grande.

It really depends on whether or not forward speed slows near landfall (which I maintain is a distinct possibility). There may also be a WSW/SW bobble approaching shore (which would add another hour).

With the slowing of the storm it really depends on which direction it goes once it starts moving, but probably early morning.
