Emily has made the fist and rapid intensification can commence!! This is an observation I have made in the past, let's test the theory again!

The eye has become circular, defined, and clear in just the last half hour.

I hope we aren't watching a sleeping giant awaken so close to the coast.

She definately is looks much better this afternoon. Will be interesting to see if the eye clears out before landfall.

Actually looking at the latest visible, it looks like the eye is showing up nicely.

Cute cartoon...

Anyone know what time the next advisory is coming out? I get confused when the NHC starts randomly spurting them out near landfall.
