Actually, I think what they mean is the pressure may be much lower than thought.

It's 945mb in the special advisory. Probably adjusted but still a significant drop.

At least pressures are not going more down but leveled off and slightly higher from 1 hour ago.Unless that 942 was a bad reading?

Cycloneye, that pressure of 942 mb was a BOGUS report. The TRUE pressure is 949 mb, a significant drop, but not an extreme one.

The pressure has not gone up, but rather is steadily falling...
