GOES Infrared channel 4 GOM loop

I am very confused.

After looking at the most recent GOES IR loop, It looks like Emily's eye has disappeared and it has no eye now. What happened to make this occur?

erc... eyewall replacement cycle. Intensification phase.

its never really closed off solid eyewall for any long period of time....still developing/maintaining.......for the moment it appears the possible rapid strengthening has been put on hold for the time being any way.
