Watching Emily''s N feederband move across Upper TX Coast

Looking out the window in League City at South Shore and can see the feeder along the coast moving slowly NW while the indiviual cells move off to the SW.

Can anyone post the condition within the northern bands. Just interested o see how the strong the gust are and how much rain it is dumping.

I'm on the east end, we had a one quick shower pass over us.. otherwise sunny.. but from the lunchroom window, looking out to the bay and the fred hartman bridge, its pretty dark

Hmm, I think that band may be the only rain if any the area sees with Em's westward motion.

Gusty winds of 25-30MPH and about .50" in 10 minutes. The rain was coming down side-ways.

It's raining like the bejesus over here in Clear Lake, thunder is crazy. Can't say about the gusts....but this is nuts!

I'm at work just north of the Ship Channel.By the time I go to lunch at 1 the feeder band should be moving through here. I can't wait!!!!! :D

Duckie, any surf reports?? Heading down about 4:00PM from the office to the west end (Pirates), heard there will be 7-9 foot swells..

dwg - believe I saw in another report about the undertow and dangerous conditions for swimmers and fishermen. . . Good luck.

Wish I knew where to get those for you, but I'm not a surfer. Looking out from the hospital, it does look nice and choppy out there. :)

Yeah I saw the same, unfortunately for my 15year old daughter she doesnt get to go.. But dad and uncle do. Buddy system will be utilized.
