Well it looks like the dry weather we were having in Texas may return. According to the Houston weather guy, Neil Frank, the high we were under which moved off to the West and was giving places like Las Vegas and California record breaking temperatures will be joining up with the high that was around Florida and the combo will park over Texas. We have had over 7 inches of rain in less than a week where I'm at on the upper Texas coast, but it looks like I may have to break out the sprinklers again in the not too distant future. It didn't rain at all for over a month before that high moved out. Oh well, it does exempt us from tropical weather.
Although, with that wave coming off of Africa and the one near Puerto Rico, our break may not be too long.
