 Good Morning Brownsville!!!

Very Scary. Like I felt waking up to a Cat 4 Dennis jogging N towards me. Or Opal who went from Cat 1 to Cat 4 overnight and headed towards me.
Or Ivan when the models and cone shifted towards my house (we evacuated but it was stressful thinking our house might be destroyed)

Probably because even if eye landfalls within 40 or 50 miles to the south of Texas-Mexico border, hurricane force winds could still rake extreme south Texas as well as being on northern semicircle of core. Will be interesting once storm enters radar range and tracking can be much easier hr by hr.

A wise move by NHC. I just hope it's not too late for some folks.

If I was in brownsville and woke up to the NHC warnings and this

I'd be mighty uncomfortable if I didn't prepare!
