Always is interesting the spot where he goes when every landfall comes.He is transmitting every half an hour tonight from there.

if it becomes a major, it will hit him

if it doesn't, it will miss. Seems like thats how the Cantore Jinx goes these days

Yeah, it sure seems like it has been the complete reverse for him ever since he scored a direct hit.

Cantore's at Padre? Ha ... that's the best news yet I have heard tonight. Now I am certain Emily will not come near a Texas landfall. :lol:

Hahaha now, now! But yes, I agree. He's a bit too far North. Heaven knows it won't be good for Padre if Emily makes landfall there. Such a nice little place. Been there twice myself.

Given the SSE/NNW orientation of the island, it's side-on to ENE on-shore winds on the top side of Emily coming in from the SE. -- They'll be some impressive wave pile-up.
