I confess to being even worse that that. If it's not heading in my general direction, I'm not on here much. But when it is, I practically never leave for days on end. During those times, many things get neglected, not just sleep. So, I'm catching up on them. :D

HUH? I guess you mean "If doesn't happen here, it ain't happening".

Be sure to let everyone living in the Yucatan and the NE Mexican coast / Rio Grande Valley know.

Lets enjoy a few weeks or a week of relaxation to begin again tracking storms.

If it's in the gulf or heading to the gulf I'm checking up regularly through the day but I have to admit I don't pay much attention to the east coast storms. It all just depends on where the storm is and no one cares about ole' Emily.

Unfortunately a majority of the people who post on this board are from the central or eastern GOM and the east coast. The way it looks now Emily is not a threat to any of those areas. Some (NOT ALL)people feel that if it doesn't threaten their area then why bother posting. I know many will deny it but it is what is. I personally enjoy posting no matter where the storm is headed. I hope I didn't offend anyone.

I wont deny it, if its headed to Mexico, I wont take as much interest as I would if it were to hit the US mainland. Does that make me a bad person?

I hope everyone is ok, and pray for their safety...

Didn't offend me, I'm used to seeing the response to *invisible* hurricanes here!

I'm the same way. If it wasn't going to spread rainbands into South Texas I probably would be paying even less attention. I was in here nonstop with Dennis but this week I'm doing other things a lot of the time.

I am here. I was keeping my nephews yesterday and today we went swimming. I have been busy. And tonight I have to an award ceremony for dh. He won 2nd in the ADSFR (Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo) for Barracuda. Hopefully I will be able to get on later tonight. I rather do this than watch t.v.

I check on Emily off and on throughout the day. My heart and prayers go out to whomever is in her path, no matter how strong she is or becomes. Been there done that here in Pensacola... too many times lately. Im still catching up on my sleep, and I don't think I"ll ever be cold again...no matter the temperature. We've had enough hot sleepless nights to last us a lifetime in this past year. Everyone stay safe and cool, you never know how much you miss normal everyday things, until mother nature takes them away from you.
