High res radar/earthsat of Emily's landfall

#1 Postby tallywx » Mon Jul 18, 2005 1:25 am

For these maps, I took the Cancun radar and overlayed it over a Google Earth map. It shows a terrible scenario taking place.

First image: overview. Emily at landfall just north of Tulum.

Second image: Emily's eastern eyewall DIRECTLY over Cozumel's largest city.

Third image: Emily's strong NE eyewall DIRECTLY over Playa del Carmen.
