I need a web site...

#1 Postby MomH » Mon Jul 18, 2005 12:17 am

or the title of a good book that will teach me how to read these beautiful maps and models you knowledgeable ones post. I would prefer a web site, of course, or a book that I might be able to get through my local community college.

Anyone got an idea or two?

Right here.

People will constantly post analysis of models, graphs, charts, all kinds of information.

This is your best source, really.

Well, I found this that might help you:

http://jrscience.wcp.muohio.edu/corioli ... sites.html

A little more than halfway down that huge page, is a section called:
Tips to Reading and Interpreting Weather Maps

that has a few links.

Hope that helps.

Anytime you have a question on a graphic that is posted just ask, a met or someone knowledgable will come along and answer it for you. This is the great thing about Storm2K.
