I am really trying to get along...im just pointing out facts right now, and i am being bashed but, its cool

I know, and I think you are raising some good points... I wish people didnt have to get flak for raising questions that arent addressed directly by the NHC..... we are all here to learn from each other, not to shut others down when they express an opinion....JMHO

right...i am learning too...But, I know enough meteorology to know that ULL and RIDGES will steer systems...I think that is clearly evident right now...and all i am saying is everyone is saying the ridge will build in...will build in...well, the models have said that for the past 3 days now...and so far it HAS NOT

Well, I lived in Baytown, Tx, half of my life, and I I have 3(two are twins, lol) daughters and a son down there now. Clear Lake area. I told them if I were them to be prepared for heavy rains and flooding, but even that will most likely be south around Corpus and Brownsville, there is a pretty good rain shield on the north side of Emily right now and they have had some pretty good rains for the past 4 days.

I think there are more people to blame than dwg, although he did seem to bash anyone thinking of a possible TX landfall. The thing is people on one side are so stubborn with their ideas, and people on the other side are the same way. So, it leads to arguing and a lot of tension within a thread.

I have not even read this thread, other than the last page or two. It is sad this is really taking place.

All people are doing is pointing out possible steering currents. No harm in that.

Agreed, but people are for a lack of a better term, being narrow-minded about this. dwg, for example, won't budge on his opinion at all that the ULL is not steering the storm, while others won't budge in their opinion that it is. This is leading to arguing and even bashing of certain members.

Maybe I'm overreacting about how silly and unnecessary this is. I don't live anywhere near TX so I have no reason to be concerned so I guess I can't grasp the discussion going on.

This has gotten out of hand and I'm locking this thread. Get up from your chair, take a deep breath, smile and let's get back to tracking Emily.
