New Emily video
Good information on using the info on wind shear and water temp. Being from Texas, I'm not wanting to hear farther north but that's not your fault. Intro was great and the music choice is always different and good. Yall are doing a great job.

good job, but I think the trough over Texas is much stronger, and even the NHC 5pm diss. said there is more of a weaknesss than thought. I cant belive they didnt raise the track to at least just south of Brownsville. Emily is moving to quick at the Western GOM. Sound the warning too late and we have a major problem down here.

Tomorrow being Monday morning, all will hit high gear. NHC will take proper precautions with properly placed watches and warnings. Some portions of Texas will be in some sort of watch or warning. I do not think Emily will catch Texans off guard as media has covered quite well, I think they are keeping a weary eye towards the gulf.

We have said Cnat beleive the NHC didnt do this or that with EVERY storm this year..Example with Dennis was "WE couldnt believe the NHC didnt Issue Hurricane watches for NOLA"...But once again they WERE RIGHT None were needed!

I hear you, They are banking on two things to come together1) The trough to weaken and retrograde west, 2) the high over the EGOM build stronger and fill in. I know proper watches and warnings will be in place, just in my opinion they should have moved the landfall further north in Mexico.Of course again that is just my opinion.rtd2 wrote:corpusbreeze wrote:good job, but I think the trough over Texas is much stronger, and even the NHC 5pm diss. said there is more of a weaknesss than thought. Thank you for another great update Mike. I get so excited when I see you have posted a fresh update because you seem to give me so much information that I can understand without feeling talked down to. Wish I could just check in with you every 2 or 3 hours during hurricane season. What can I say other than Superior!
Guess I shouldn't sound so happy about something so scary but better to be informed.
