TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
4 PM PDT SUN JUL 17 2005

FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE.

A TROPICAL DISTURBANCE...ACCOMPANIED BY A BROAD AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE...IS LOCATED A COUPLE HUNDRED MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF
ACAPULCO MEXICO. THIS SYSTEM IS GRADUALLY BECOMING BETTER
ORGANIZED...AND IT HAS THE POTENTIAL FOR TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION
OVER THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH MONDAY.

FORECASTER PASCH

A tropical depression could form over the next few days...Can it tie the Atlantic?


It is already looking very good. With banding....

Also remember what Emily did to 99L a few days ago. 99L Was northeast of Emily in it got sheared to death. If this develops it will be shearing Emily.

One difference now is that Emily has an ULL in front of it.

Stupid EPAC. Ruining good storms in the ATL. At least all the storms in the EPAC this year have been worthless weak TS's.

I dont know im prolly wrong....but the ULL could ventilate both systems (thus directing the shear away)....bah ask a pro met.

Maybe the EPAC system is preventing the ULL from moving out tof Emily's way.

"Eugene" will only tie the game, it will be a storm that will last a few days, no more, because of its current position. Of course, that's if it continues moving WNW.
