While checking out Intellicast's IR java loop for Emily, it looks as though she might be intensifying - the central part of the storm, nearest to the eyewall, is rapidly deepening in color (usually signifying intensification, right?).
Can anyone provide feedback on this, pls?

Eye in range from now on.
I think the ULL is brickwalling it - but who knows?
It does kinda look like that, doesn't it?
I'm surprised that the NHC didn't even mention that feature in its discussion .... I guess they must be sure its gonna scoot outta the way pretty quickly....

Emily is moving pretty fast looks like she will be over the Yucatan mainland in 10 hours.
It would be great if she would make landfall disorganized with lower winds.
Storms with a small eye and a tight structure seem to hold their intensity better over land.
If that small eye builds back before landfall watch out.
She should be back over the water by tomorrow afternoon so all we can do is wait.

If you are pissed by those freakishly slow Mexican servers
, try this site:
http://www.stormtrack.org/special/
Go to the very top, Cancun radar mirror, click on Base reflectivity to get the most current image (in about a hundred times faster than the Mexican site), click on Animation to get an animation of the past few images.
Hope this helps!

Please use mirror so the real site stays up through this, I made a fancy one auto updating one with several hours worth of animation now here.
