From the 5:30 TWO:
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY ASSOCIATED WITH THE TROPICAL WAVE LOCATEDABOUT 600 MILES EAST-NORTHEAST OF THE NORTHERN LEEWARD ISLANDS REMAINS POORLY ORGANIZED. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN
UNFAVORABLE FOR TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS THIS SYSTEM MOVES TOWARD THE NORTHWEST AROUND 15 MPH.

Steve H. wrote:Actually Boca, you're watching the convecctive MLC and convection get takn to the North. The lower level swirl is toward the W of that area and is actually re-firing convection tonight. We'll see in a day or two if its got anything left.
That's what I thought....I think this little persistent sucker is actually trying to make a comeback. If it happened, I'd be impressed, since it was so well denuded of its convection by that nasty upper low. I'm rooting for the underdog! I think 99L has been more "interesting" than Emily....I feel like Emily has been on the screen for a month....I know it's going to hit someone, but I'm tired of it already...boring old WWNW moving Emily....at this point I wish she'd dissipate and make room for another storm.
