I wish I could understand the point of all the hostility here....a bunch of people are discussing what they see RE the movement of the storm....if you dont agree with them, explain why, but asking "how old are you?" and bursting into spontaneous fits isn't productive in the least. If the thread bothers you THAT much, perhaps you should stop looking at it .... or maybe you just need to turn off your monitor and take a deeeep breath.....

Only to point out the latest frames indicated that western Cuba could be impacted. I stand by that and see no evidence of a WNW resumption at this time. "Wobbles" are heavily discussed when the storm is close to landfall. Not just US landfall.
OMG WTF is your FREAKIN problem, I freakin told for the last freakin time it's *SHIMMY*! The thing I have to deal with on this FREAKIN FORUM OMG
that was totally uncalled for!
Oh really? Maybe you should see page 5 and how Raebie here DEMANDED FOR THE LAST FREAKUN TIME we call them shimmys.

Wow, even South Texas? You've got a lot of nerve, kid - or you just won the lotto. Either way, I could use the money....
Or I know the tendency of Emily by watching it for many days, it has either gone south or exactly on the track.
I'm sure Emily gives a rats azz about the NHC's track and whether or not shes's on it.

It was all the cursing implications that I didnt like, however, It does need to die..and get back to the point. Which way is the storm going right now?
WNW with a recent shimmy (or prolonged wobble) to the north west.

Doesn't matter, it's going to Mexico. And yes I am selfish and only care about the U.S and its commonwealths.

Hope you do better in MET class than you do in English![]()
What does this mean??
He's saying it's ridiculous to not expect someone else to have their own interpretation of whether or not there is any north movement.

I'm 43 and unless there is a significant jog back to the west the 12 hr forecast position from the NHC will be a bust. It's very obvious right now.
http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT/rgb-loop.html
Run the loop, add the forecast positions, zoom it in, and if you need to draw a line on your monitor between the little red hurricane symbols. But like it or not she's north of the forecast track right now. Is this just a wobble?, time will tell.

That is one of the most ignorant statements I have seen, you obviously have missed the whole point. It has nothing to do with what Emily "thinks" of the NHC track, it has to do with the fact that she's gone south or on the track, and there is no reason to expect her to deviate from what she's done for the last week and a half.
